Special Projects

We like to keep life interesting at LDA/Silver Lake Workshops, and customers often help us to do just that. Sometimes they have special projects for which there is no resource, and that’s usually how it all starts. While we do not make these products as part of our standard offerings, they do demonstrate that we enjoy working outside the proverbial box. A customer needed a cost-effective chalkboard with a particular design for their mail order catalog. We engineered it and produced it. We were able to duplicate The Salvation Army’s famous donut mix from World War I and package it for them, complete with donut cutter. Below are some other special projects we've offered recently. Boxed Soaps

Our customer wanted a custom box created for a set of four specific soaps. We designed the box and have since packaged thousands of soap sets.

Handpainting

Handpainting of ceramics in the English tradition is available at LDA/Silver Lake Workshops for low quantity production runs. Fruits and flowers are a specialty!

Belgian Chocolate

Soup, Soap & Salvation

We developed this gift concept for The Salvation Army as “thank-yous” for its advisory boards. Soup mix, handmade soap, and a portion of scripture are packaged together, along with a card telling the story of “Soup, Soap & Salvation.”

Enamel Pins

So many of our customers asked for pins that we searched for the best makers and now provide these lovely items at very competitive prices. Just like the products we make here at LDA/Silver Lake Workshops, we’ll prepare the art for you at no extra charge!

Amaryllis Gift Sets

We designed a custom flower pot for the amaryllis using a latte mug, we sourced extraordinary bulbs from some of the best international growers, and then packaged the set. We now provide multiple varieties of floral gifts featuring custom packaging.
